Details: PR1196 is a sprayable, polyurethane coating designed for use as a secondary fuel barrier on aircraft integral fuel tanks. PR1196 is usually applied to the exterior surfaces of the center wing box tank. PR-1196 will aid in containment of leaks in the primary seal system and prevent fuel migration. When mixed it obtains a good film thickness even on vertical surfaces. PR1196 cures at room temperature to form a resilient transparent coating with high elongation and tensile strength properties. PR1196 is in accordance with BMS 5-81 Type II Class 1. Immediate Need Supplier.
